SMEs need to constantly improve their products or create new but related products, making them more interesting as well as of better quality and value, in order to remain competitive.
These could be achieved through research and development, use of ICT, as well as the use of industry standards and accreditation.
Product Development
The Government's Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) currently provides training, promotion, consultancy and research services for improving Productivity & Quality (P&Q).
Services Provided by MPC
Matters such as benchmarking, accreditation programmes, research and training programmes are dealt with under the MPC's various schemes.
Training Programmes Provided by MPC
MPC has many scheduled and in-house training programmes and system development activities dealing with productivity, quality, competitiveness and management to help businesses improve.
