SEREMBAN, – An allocation of almost RM7 billion was channeled through the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Cooperative Development through the ‘Power Up 10K’ initiative which helped more than 213,000 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (PMKS) entrepreneurs throughout the country during the first six months of 2026.
Its minister, Steven Sim, said the funds were channeled through various support programs as well as funding under initiatives targeting RM15 billion throughout this year.
“The success witnessed the ministry’s continued commitment in ensuring that the PMKS sector remains competitive and able to face various global economic challenges.
“In Negeri Sembilan alone, RM345 million ringgit was channeled to more than 6,600 entrepreneurs through the ‘Power Up 10K’ program,” he said after attending the People’s Assembly and the Negeri Sembilan KUSKOP agency.
He meanwhile informed the new direction, set to ensure that all agencies under the ministry act as an efficient front line in helping traders.
