ACCCIM lauds Anwar’s pragmatic economic measures, call to avoid race sentiments

KUALA LUMPUR: The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) has welcomed Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s New Year Address today, praising the government’s recalibration of measures aimed at easing businesses’ operating costs amid global economic uncertainties.

ACCCIM said it complements the unity government’s efforts to sustain a resilient economic performance in 2025, and expressed support for Anwar’s call to avoid race- or religion-based sentiments in order to maintain stability and achieve economic progress.
