Programme Objective
- To assist informal, micro, and small entrepreneurs in the state of Perak in improving their business productivity.
- To provide financial assistance, particularly to informal and micro-sector entrepreneurs, in order to support local economic development through the creation of new economic value chains.
- To identify new groups of entrepreneurs in Perak with the potential to be promoted to wider markets, both domestically and internationally.
- To help increase direct and indirect tax revenues for the state through the payment of various forms of taxes by entrepreneurs and suppliers who benefit from this program.
- To help create employment opportunities for local residents, including those in rural, semi-urban, and urban areas throughout the state of Perak.
- To help develop more entrepreneurs from informal and micro status into small-scale entrepreneurs.

Programme Objective
- The objective of this programme is to strengthen strategic relationships, empower and enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the State of Perak through the implementation of collaborative programmes in cooperation with ministries, departments and agencies at both the Federal and State levels. In addition, the programme aims to facilitate the dissemination of information and the sharing of entrepreneur-related data among relevant ministries, departments and agencies. This programme is established under the Majlis Pembangunan Usahawan Negeri Perak (MPUP), which comprises 50 Federal and State ministries, departments and agencies.

- The objective of this programme is to disseminate information related to entrepreneurial matters in the State of Perak, such as assistance, grants, training, programmes, financing and other related initiatives. In addition, the programme involves the collection of entrepreneur data through the Perak State database system. The programme also serves as an advisory service and includes monitoring visits to entrepreneurs.

- Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (PMKS) in Perak state have various types of businesses increasing their income beyond the minimum income level of RM300 thousand per year through various capacity assistance programs, grants, loans and training organized by STeP or in collaboration with various ministries, agencies, banks, authorities and various other parties at the federal and state levels.
