KUALA LUMPUR, – Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (PMKS) entrepreneurs are advised to manage taxation and financial planning more regularly, thus enabling them to take advantage of various incentives through the 2027 Budget.
Taxation Expert and Fellow of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Space Services, Dr. Mohd Fairuz A. Razak said, the ability of businesses to survive and remain competitive depends on the extent to which traders manage their account information accurately.
“Traders need to make proper tax reporting because it is important even if they are not taxed to pay.
“Through accurate reporting, traders have the opportunity to obtain a Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC), which can help facilitate applications for assistance, grants or loan facilities.
“At the same time, regular tax reporting reflects compliance with taxation responsibilities and contribution to national development,” he told RTM.
