JOHOR BAHRU, – The organization of the Johor Agro-Based Industry Expo (IAT) 2026, which will last three days until October 4, becomes a platform for agricultural-based industry entrepreneurs to expand the market, strengthen brands and increase the competitiveness of local products.
Johor Agriculture, Agro-Based Industry and Rural Development Exco, Israk Abdullah informed 50 entrepreneurs from 10 selected districts to participate in the expo this time.
“We have received 150 applications and from that number only 50 entrepreneurs have been selected who have high sales potential,” he said after officiating the IAT Johor 2026 Expo.
At the same time, he also informed that 130 entrepreneurs benefited from the allocation of RM4.1 million which includes intervention assistance, workshop upgrades, packaging and IoT and AI technology applications.
