KUALA LUMPUR, – The Business Digitization Program 2026 (PPP26) organized by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) in Perak, successfully attracted the participation of nearly 600 participants, especially micro, small and medium enterprises.
The Perak state level program which took place at MARA Ipoh Poly-Tech College, among others focused on the use of social media and e-commerce, digital marketing strategies, digitization of business operations as well as awareness of financial fraud through the Scam Alert slot.
PPP26 also supports the National Entrepreneurship Policy 2030 as well as the Retail Sector Digitization Initiative Program, ReDI, in expanding the use of technology among traders.
The program was inaugurated by SSM’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, Rezy Izwan Ramly, which is the first series of PPP26 for this year which is a continuation of SSM’s previous entrepreneurial guidance program.
Based on SSM statistics up to 31 August last, a total of 26,324 companies, 150,525 businesses and 1,130 Limited Liability Partnerships, are active in Perak.
