KUSKOP targets 10,000 entrepreneurs to be trained to use AI next year

KUALA LUMPUR, – The Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Cooperative Development (KUSKOP) aims to have at least 10,000 entrepreneurs trained to use artificial intelligence (AI) in their business development next year.

Its minister, Steven Sim Chee Keong, said efforts to strengthen the ability of entrepreneurs need to start with mastering the basics of business, including understanding the market, products and operational requirements before starting a business.

He said, prospective entrepreneurs also need to make careful financial and marketing plans to ensure capital is used prudently and reduce the risk of loss.

“Next year, INSKEN, if there are no horizontal obstacles, will go all over the country to train at least 10,000 entrepreneurs to apply AI in building their businesses.

“When you have knowledge, capital and are ready to start a business, the government and KUSKOP provide various forms of funds, grants and financing to help Malaysians build businesses,” he said.
