MIHAS 2026 targets RM60 million in sales and investment potential

KUALA LUMPUR, – A total of RM60 million in sales and investment potential is targeted through the participation of halal Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (PMKS) and cooperatives at the Malaysia International Halal Exhibition (MIHAS) 2026.

Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development Minister Steven Sim Chee Keong said the target was an increase compared to last year’s RM30 million, with 43 exhibitors participating in the Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development Ministry Pavilion (KUSKOP), compared to 32 entrepreneurs in the previous edition.

He said MIHAS is an important platform to open up opportunities for local entrepreneurs and cooperatives to penetrate the global halal market.

“This is a halal exhibition that I think is quite important, not only in our country but throughout the world.”

“This year at the KUSKOP Pavilion, we have brought approximately 43 Malaysian PMKS entrepreneurs and this year’s sales target, we hope the companies present can reach or reach 60 million ringgit. This is our target.”
