KUALA LUMPUR, – The organization of the World Marketing Summit (WMS) Malaysia 2026 is seen as an important platform to empower local entrepreneurs through exposure to international business leaders, in addition to opening opportunities to explore the global market.
The president of Kotler Impact, Datuk Dr Faridah Hanim Haron, said the conference was designed with a more relaxed and practical approach to enable entrepreneurs, especially the young, to understand and apply the knowledge gained in their respective businesses.
“The main objective is to build confidence and expand the minds of entrepreneurs. When they have the opportunity to participate in conferences at an international level, they will begin to see themselves as entrepreneurs who are also capable of taking business to a global level.
“They will think, if they are already qualified to be at an international conference, the business developed also has the potential to penetrate the international market,” he said when met by the media at WMS, here.
He said, WMS this time also focused on the participation of the younger generation through simple sharing, the use of artificial intelligence (AI)-based lawyers and interactive elements.
Meanwhile, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Global Kotler Impact Inc, Dr Sadia Kibria said, Malaysia has the potential to become an ASEAN WMS hub due to its strategic position and cultural diversity, thereby opening up opportunities to expand international marketing networks.
Commenting on the use of AI, he said the technology is able to help micro, small and medium enterprises (PMKS) reduce marketing costs, including digital content production, graphic design and promotion.
“At Kotler Impact, we aim to protect the minds of the public, especially young people, from being influenced by inaccurate or misleading information generated by AI. The message we always emphasize is that we need to prioritize the use of artificial intelligence, but human values should always be the priority,” he explained.
In the same development, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the KNKV Group, Professor Adam Richman said, WMS 2026 opens up opportunities for local entrepreneurs and marketers to gain global exposure so that the national marketing industry continues to keep pace with international developments.
He also warned that the excessive use of AI in marketing can remove the emotional touch and human creativity, thus making the content too artificial.
“Entrepreneurs need to master AI technology before the emergence of Quantum Intelligence to avoid falling behind in the current of technological development. They need to continue to gain knowledge, follow current developments and translate ideas into implementation because mastery of technology can reduce operating costs and maximize profits,” he explained.
