KUALA LUMPUR: An allocation of RM9.8 billion is currently being utilised by six institutions providing microcredit services to help small businesses.
Deputy Finance Minister Liew Chin Tong said the institutions also provide mentorship and facilitate access to digital technology to ensure businesses become more sustainable and competitive.
“This programme has been running for a long time, and we hope to improve and expand access so that more hawkers can benefit from microcredit facilities.
