The subsidized diesel price of RM2.10 helps PMKS reduce operating costs, strengthen cash flow

KUALA LUMPUR, July 2 – The implementation of subsidized diesel prices at a price of RM2.10 per liter allows Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (PMKS) entrepreneurs to reduce operating costs and strengthen business cash flow.

The Chief Executive Officer of SME Corp Malaysia, Rizal Nainy believes that P-M-K-S entrepreneurs are now enjoying savings of about 47 percent, thus being able to cover the cost of other inputs.

“Savings can be used to absorb other input costs as well as invest in technology adaptation and digitization to increase productivity.

“The drop in diesel prices gives more space to industry players to maintain services at a lower rate and increase business competitiveness,” he told RTM.
