Deepavali Blessing Scheme offers financing up to RM30,000

BUKIT MERTAJAM, – Indian entrepreneurs can get financing up to RM30,000 at a profit rate of three percent per annum for a period of up to 12 months through the Deepavali Blessing Scheme.

Applications are open from today until November 8 through the TEKUN Online Application System or TEKUN National branch offices nationwide.

The Minister of Entrepreneurship and Cooperative Development, Steven Sim, said the government has allocated RM30 million for the scheme as working capital for entrepreneurs ahead of the Deepavali celebration.

“Deepavali is about a month away. So, we hope entrepreneurs in the Deepavali bazaar and Little India can take advantage of this provision.

“It involves traders of food, clothing, jewelry and other businesses related to the Deepavali celebration,” he told reporters at the Bukit Mertajam MADANI Program (PMK) at Santuari Business Center, here.
