KUALA LUMPUR, – SME Corporation Malaysia (SME Corp) is allocating RM1.5 million through the Next Level CEO Program to strengthen senior management leadership capabilities of micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that have the potential to grow into high-value companies.
The program targets the participation of 90 chief executive officers, managing directors and founders of PMKS to help improve the company’s performance, thus strengthening the sector’s contribution to the national economy.
The Chief Executive Officer of SME Corp Malaysia, Rizal Nainy said, Malaysia needs more PMKS that are not only resilient, but capable of growing into high-value and competitive companies at the global level, in line with the PMKS scaling agenda.
“The Next Level CEO program is a strategic investment in leadership development because organizational transformation starts from leaders who have vision, the courage to make changes and the ability to explore new opportunities.
“Through this program, we hope to produce more industry leaders who are able to drive company growth, increase productivity and contribute to the country’s economic development,” he said in a statement.
