The KUSKOP program generated nearly 4,000 new job opportunities

KUALA LUMPUR, – Almost 4,000 new job opportunities have been created as a result of the implementation of the entrepreneur empowerment program of the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP) throughout the period from 2023 to 2025.

The Minister of Entrepreneurship and Cooperative Development, Steven Sim, said that the achievement was one of the indicators of the effectiveness of the program implemented through agencies under the ministry.

“Among the main achievements is the creation of nearly 4,000 new job opportunities by participating companies.

Their sales also increased by at least 20 percent compared to before participating in the program, in addition to 150 companies successfully increasing their business scale,” he said.

He said this when answering additional questions from Sekijang Member of Parliament, Datuk Seri Dr. Zaliha Mustafa in the Dewan Rakyat, today.
