ALOR SETAR, – The Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Cooperative Development (KUSKOP) is committed to ensuring that all entrepreneurs regardless of race have access to financing to expand their business and compete at a higher level.
In order to realize that wish, a funding allocation of RM60 billion will be channeled to micro, small and medium enterprises (PMKS) this year.
Its minister, Steven Sim, said that in the uncertain global economic situation due to geopolitical tensions, the government wants to ensure that every entrepreneur has access to financing to expand their business.
“The Ministry also increased the allocation of various financing funds including the National Business Enterprise Group Economic Fund and the Entrepreneur Capital Package and India’s Economic Stimulus 2026.
“It is to ensure that more entrepreneurs from all races have access to capital to develop their respective businesses,” he said when he officiated the PMKS Financing and Market Access Briefing in collaboration with the Kedah Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCCI) here.
